I was born in Newport News, Virginia, but I have lived in Iowa for most of my life.  I grew up around an artistic family.  In middle school, my cousin showed me how to create make shift animations in Microsoft Powerpoint and ever since, I've been in love with the medium.  In high school I took as many art and design classes as I could fit into my schedule.  I love learning new things about art and animation and getting the chance to apply them.

 

I was the secretary of Southeastern Community College's SCC animation club and a member of Phi Theta Kappa.  Recently, I won first place at the Business Professionals of America National Leadership Conference for the "Computer Animation Team" competition (along with Tylor Huebner and Brent Reel).  

 

I recently worked at Grasshorse Studios where I have done 2D and 3D animation for commercials and public service announcements.  Through this experience I have learned how to composite, integrate 2D and 3D styles, model characters, and draw storyboards.
